Pulp Dentistry

The dental pulp is the part which is present in the center of a tooth. It is  made up of living connective tissue and cells. It is called odontoblasts. The dental pulp is a  segment of the dentin-pulp complex . The pulp act as a neuro vascular bundle central to each of the tooth. It compose of three different classes, central pulp chamber, pulp horns and radicular canals. The Pulp acts as a security  alarm system for a tooth. If there any slight decay in tooth structure the dentin may not get that  alarm signal ,but as the dentin gets exposed, either due to dental caries or trauma, sensitivity starts and it starts signaling.
